How to lengthen jubliee strap with links
Hi there, I have just acquired a 70's Oyster Date with a jubilee bracelet (I know that's not correct for the watch but I like it).
What I'd like to know is - is it possible to add links to lengthen the bracelet, as it is a tiny tiny bit tight. It probably only needs one link adding. Having counted up one side has 9 and one side has 10! If so, how does one do it, please? I have managed to find links but don't know if I'm buying the right thing or how I would go about getting one into the bracelet Thanks, one and all |

How to lengthen jubliee strap with links

There are instructional videos on YouTube. You will need an extra screw, as well. You will also need a 1.4 mm jewelry screw driver. Just google how to size a Rolex Jubilee bracelet. It’s really easy. Basically, you unscrew one of the removable links, add the extra link, and screw it back together. Add it to the side with 9 links. When you are done, show post a pic. Can you post a pic ofthe bracelet, especially the underside of the removable links. I’ve adjusted some vintage bracelets, awhile back. My son talked me out of a 34 mm Vintage OP, that I sized, but it was a folded link oyster bracelet. It might be similar though, in the way ir works. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
