I have a dilema between DJ 36mm (black dial) and Sub ND as the GADA (go anywhere - do anything) watch. I want to buy and use it as a life time watch.
I'm also a one watch guy.
And luckily, I could buy at retail price.
So, please give me advice and your opinions with thanks.

If you have no problem with knowing the date the Sub no date would be the most robust for GADA.

Tried the DJ a couple of times. Didn’t stick. Sub or GMT II are have more character to me. DJ felt to formal to me. Only you can decided what is good for you.

This. Most versatile offering.

Get the size your prefer. Either could work.

Edit: missed the last page. Congrats on your new watch!

I have a 41 DJ blue dial jubilee smooth, and a 41 sub date. Only two Rolex I own, love them both but if I only could keep one it would be the sub.

The OP question totally depends on what your ‘everyday’ looks like. Some on this thread wear a suit everyday for work. Others like me live near the beach, work from home and can count on one hand the number of times a year they wear a suit or sport coat
