New Aquanaut annual calendar travel time for 2024...!!
My gut feeling.... We soon be seeing a new Aquanaut with a Caliber 31‑260 PS QA LU FUS 24H. Annual Calendar. Day, date and month in apertures. Two time zones: local and home time indication. Local and home day/night indication in apertures. Moon phases. Small seconds. That would be a perfect Aquanaut sport watch with all the useful complications just like 5326G...

Those are certainly the complications I primarily look for

Can you elaborate a little more on this? The thread title suggests that you might know a little more about this

I think Aquanauts are excellent for travel because they can be worn in almost any situation including in a pool or ocean. I'd love something like this although given Patek's AD cutting, it won't matter for many of us.

Thing I worry about is that if they make an annual calendar (and travel time) aquanaut it won’t have the wear-in-any-situation utility anymore. I think of the 5261R with just 3 bar resistance. Plus, while Patek discontinued the steel 5164, it did leave the 5164R.

Since the 5164a travel time discontinued, it would make perfect sense for annual calendar travel time as a replacement... The new dial layout is perfect for the new Aquanaut annual calendar travel time... Quote:

I don't see why they can make it 120m water resistant.... Example 5726 & 5990 both has 120m water resistant....

Would love this combo. The 5326 is an amazing piece, nice layout to put on an aquanaut

Although I think the layout would really work, it would make it more difficult I think as a true travel watch. The 5164 had just the right complications needed for traveling. Guessing if it is made would probably been in white gold given the Patek trend and price point similar to 5326? All in speculation but a month away!

Good question... My guess for the stainless under $60k & precious metal around $70k

Was there a technical reason the 5261 wasn't more than 30m wr? Doing a 5326 style aquanaut with better WR would prob kill the demand for the 5261 but I guess it'd prob be marketed as mens vs women's.

I’m guessing a 5164g. White gold and maybe a blue dial/ strap combo? I doubt anything too drastic as it’s one of Thierry Stern’s favorite pieces.

That's my guess as well. It seems to be the trend of updating to precious metal references.
