Are low mag cyclops a problem again?
I remember the 2015/2016 era of this issue. This has a 2024 card and it looks like low magnification (to me). But the movement seems to be correct after I opened it (unless I am missing something). Has anyone seen recent low magnifications on the GMTs again?

Mag definitely looks low and similar to those from 2015/2016 as you referenced. That would be a shame if this issue started popping up again.

I guess you are referencing the low power magnification? That looks very off. Can you snap a photo of the movement hacked and showing the balance wheel?

It's not an issue with the cyclops. Rather, someone used the wrong crystal gasket here. It should be taller than it is, providing the appropriate magnification.
Original crystal could have been damaged and then swapped out under warranty. The watch looks good to my eyes, however. Take it to an AD (or better yet, RSC if you're close to one) and inquire. I highly doubt this left Geneva looking like that.

Cyclops was replaced on my 116610 back in 2015 - Looked exactly like yours.

That's indeed a free-sprung balance in there, OP. Genuine watch. Genuine movement.

A lot of members here, like Carlos, got replacements back then, either new cyclops/crystals, or in a couple of cases I recall new watches from the AD back when ADs had multiple models in store.
