Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT Incoming!

Opportune walk past a Tudor boutique this morning resulted in a sooner than expected pick up!

They’d just put it in the window that morning. A really nice ‘how it should be’ organic purchase.

The watch is stunning, my favourite Tudor they’ve released.

Pictures to follow soon,

Cheers guys!

My thoughts after wearing for a few hours?

It's lovely.

Is it as lovely as my BLNR? no, but then it isn't trying to compete with it.

As a vintage influenced, smaller sized piece it's superb. I love the bezel, it's really changeable depending on the light.

The bracelet and clasp with T-fit is awesome. This micro-adjustment is to me at least, a really big deal when wearing a watch, I really miss it on my pieces without it.

Something that I love about this '58 GMT that most people don't seem to have picked up on is the tall, domed crystal. It's glorious.

Overall, very very happy.

Cheers! Do you think it'd be something you'd add to your collection in the future? I saw your post yesterday about the one you spotted

The domed crystal is really underrated. I'm also excited to hear that bezel colors change depending on light. I'm also a fan of the light play with watches.

One concern - is the thickness an issue if you compare to your BLNR? I have a BLNR as well and my concern would be I'd always go for the Rolex over the Tudor because it's thick.

Looks perfect on your wrist, OP!
However, it looks a bit too yellowish-toned to me in the picture (the one on your wrist) for some reason.

Thanks!

Yeah, it doesn't really look like that to the eye, I think my iPhone picked it up a bit strange,

here's another wrist shot where it came out looking much more subdued.

That's very nice indeed. Great vintage vibe. I'll have to look at one. Cheers

It’s hard to compare the thickness between the two as the overall designs are quite different. The mid case of the Tudor is certainly bigger relative to its bezel, which gives an impression of thickness.

On the wrist the Tudor feels the smaller watch overall as the lugs are pretty chunky on the BLNR.

The Tudor wears as nicely as my 5 and 6 digit Rolex sports models to be honest.

It’s a beautiful watch I picked mine up last week and not taken it off. Just can’t seem to upload picture here as file size to big even after cropping.

Lovely on a strap as well....

Lucky enough to have tried it on during W&W, lovey watch and the strap was very comfortable, however a touch small for my personal liking...
