FS 1940’s Rolex Doctors chronograph
This is my 1940’s Rolex chronograph. It is a manual wind. This watch was serviced by Time Care Inc. Rik did a great job and it runs amazing for its age!! When it was serviced I did not have him refinish the case. It keeps good time and the chrono functions !!The case color is between yellow gold and rose gold. To me it doesn’t look all yellow or all rose.
This is one of the watches that was made when there was a gold embargo in France. The movements and dials were imported into France and the cases were made in France. Patek and other companies also did this around World War 2. The case size is 32mm. The band is aftermarket but the Buckle is Rolex. It is a plated buckle. The watch case is 18K gold.
