Question?

Has anybody ever seen a GMT in this configuration before in the flesh?

I am not promoting this site or product just didn't think I should grab the photo.

I have the parts at home and may be able to mod something out..

And what I mean is the gold/brown bezel with the SS case, crown, black face, red hand look..

Your thoughts?

JL

IMO it looks wrong. and certainly never was made that way by Rolex, but would be an easy fix if you get the right bezel insert for it.

It's a 1675 with a bezel insert (not the entire bezel) from a 1675/3 or 1675/8. I like it, and I've seen people do something similar before.

If you have the watch, the bezel insert and a nice brown strap, go ahead and show us some pictures. I'd enjoy it.

Best,

A

It is home made
His old trit dial hour markers have discolored with time and he added the two
tone root beer insert as well as the brown leather strap, to make it look "ergonomically" correct....
I like it..:

But his description has gone south...lol....as well as his price at $7,500... ...x3 the amount this Franken GMT deserves

Description:
Rolex 1675 - GMT, pepsi bezel, patina dial, stainless steel case and jubilee bracelet. Serial # 522****

It's an interesting look.........

Agree, he seems to think that the changes deserve a huge price hike.....
