diff between older and newer 116234

My wife tried on a 2002 in one store and a new one at an AD. I can swear there was some difference... the new one felt heavier and the band more solid and tight and I think the clasp was different.

did they change something after 2002?

thanks

Hi and welcome to TRF.

The case diameter of the 2 models is still the same at 36 mm, but Rolex did thicken the case towards the lugs and now the new bracelets have ALL SOLID links, even the centre ones.......hence the added heft and weight to the newer models.

The movement calibre 3135 still remains the same.

Hah! You're right! The older model is 16234, and the newer one is 116234.
