Can I remove a link on a Datejust Oyster
Just got a Datejust with Oyster Bracelet. Can I remove a link or should I take it to an AD??
Im the second owner so I did not purchase it through an AD Thanks |

It's easy and try to do it yourself. Just be careful not to scratch the sides if you're very picky about things like that.

Make sure you have the right tools and take your time. It's very easy so long as you have both of those ingredients.

Just take a very small screwdriver and undo the screw. Don't lose the screw!! You'll probably need to use the micro-adjuster on the clasp, but if you're lucky you won't have to.

If you dont have any loctite i would take it to an AD. Otherwise the screw might come loose on your wrist...

Are you sure you need to remove a link? Have you looked to see if you can adjust the fit by moving the link in the clasp?
