This arrived today

A pocket watch I won on eBay last weekend. It's circa 1890, almost flawless, and still has the original caseback sticker. I thought it was a bit bigger, but aside from that it's a beauty. Sharp, defined engraving, runs like a Swiss (or Philidelphia LOL) watch. These pix are from the auction, I can't take macro pix worth s**t:

Nice looking, though I find some irony in that it's a New York Standard Watch from the Philadelphia Watch Case Company of Riverside, New Jersey....

Very very nice myself now have a growing interest in pocket watches
especially those from 1890s-1920s.Some beautiful crafted movements and can be picked up for reasonable prices.

Thanks! The Hamilton was my Father's when he worked on the railroad. The Ball belonged to my Grandfather when he worked on the railroad.
I took a wrong turn somewhere. LOL!
