At what point do we consider the Matt Dial 16800 and 16660 vintage???

I know that some say that if it has a sapphire crystal, it's modern.....But as we go further out in time and Rolex makes changes and discontinues models, at what point does what we once considered "modern" become vintage???

At the moment so is my opinion plastic crystal models and the transitional sapphire models with the matte dial is vintage.

But that is what I think and I guess some guys will not agree.

I know some hold tight to the plastic definition, but the 16800, 16660, and 16750 qualify as vintage to me. Collectability certainly favors the matt dial versions.
