BTW, I believe the USA was favoured to win this tourney again this year.
Two years running. ( but didn't catch up)

For the last few minutes of O/T & the shoot out, the staff was around my desk listening to the radio

Agreed. Funny, back at the Salt Lake Olympics, the US was favoured (by the US media, that is) to win the men's and women's hockey. Lots of hype and they almost did it.... almost until the Canadians stepped on the ice for both gold medal rounds and dominated both games.

The thing that had me ROTFLMAO was that the same media outlets who said the US is the favourite, after the fact said that 'well, ice hockey is Canada's game, so what can you expect when their kids are brought up playing it from birth', or something to that effect.

Sour grapes? You bet! And they never tasted so good (for us!).
