The GMT II C has many new features. Good catch on the clasp JJ as it is an EasyLink not glidelock. In my opinion the GMT II C is a finer timepiece that has a couple of nice upgrades that you will use ie, easy link and a better designed clasp. I have personal experience with these watches (tt and solid gold) so I can speak from experience. Also IMO the new bezel is HAWT

I have both and really, really like both of them so I'm of little help. The Coke has been to dallas RSc 3 x and every time it comes home good as new. Its a 85 or 6 and it i worth more now than when I bought it new.
Also, the coke is always the one that strangers comment on the "oh, is that a real rolex?" for some reason I've never gotten many comments on the 2c but I personally find I wear it way more than my Daytona so --- I just don't know! Sorry for the ambiguity.

Thank you, JJ. This was mentioned in a couple of posts above yours. The GMT IIc does not have a glidelock bracelet.

STOP Pressuring me!!! I Can't handle it any more!!!

Ok, here's the update... I DID go to the AD this afternoon, credit card at the ready. I was trying to borrow a friend's Coke to compare it to the - C at the store, then I was going to make up my mind by looking at them both then and there. Well.... I didn't meet up with my friend to get his Coke and the AD ONLY had the YG GMT - C! A very nice watch, and although I might consider the TT, there is no way I am interested in the YG....

Soooooooooo..... This is what I'm doing to myself tonight

My wife surprised me with my first Rolex this past Christmas, the TT GMT II C and I can't keep my eyes off of it. Reminds me a bit of my Marine Corps officer's sword which I earned 21 years ago, gold and stainless steel, a work of art.

Sorry for the stupid question Oscar and Bill, but what makes the M series so valuable?

I *think* Oscar is intimating a "Stick" font GMT and/or one with the 3186 movement....If so, there has been debate as to how truly rare they are.

Is that what you meant Oscar???

The gmt2c will be made for years to come.
The gmtII isn't being made anymore.
I have both and I now wear my coke a lot more.
Coke was my first Rolex and I love the look.

I also wear my coke to work because the gmt2c only has 24 bezel clicks while the coke has 120. Most don't care, but I use mine while flying.

If you have the chance to get a NIB coke, DO IT!
You can always get the gmt2c later.

Is it for sure that Rolex cannot re-invent a ceramic version of coke or pepsi?
They said it couldn't be done 2 years ago. How about now?
Anyone got the latest gos?
I love my pepsi, but I will definitely buy a ceramic coke.

An old shot of my pepsi.
