I think you made a good choice. The Submariner is all the divers watch anybody needs. I also agree with the cyclops. It really helps and I always liked it "Rolex" look from across the room. The Sub will be much easier to live with and with a touch more elegance. I love the splash of color

Two very nice watches! I'm sure it was a tough decision, but congratulations on the new LV.

I like both the SD and the Sub, but if you ask me which I prefer, my heart goes for the Sub.
It´s a sturdy watch, has a depth rating more than enough for sport or professional diving not requiring decco in helium atmosphere, and is a bit more compact and lighter than the SD.

I know that It´s something more connected with my nostalgia and love for the Sub, than real tech matters, but I prefer the Sub in any of its variants to any other dive watch.

I also own a SD and DSSD, but no one of these got me to fall in love as with the Sub.

Congrats for your new purchase, and hope you´ll enjoy it so much.
Very cordially, Abel
Thank U, Sir, for ur sincere words !

[QUOTE=crazycarlitos;1627292]As much as I adored my Sea Dweller, I kept looking at the SubDate, particularly the LV..

Since I can't justify to myself of having two sports watches, I decided to let go the Sea Dweller... and purchase a BNIB V-serial Sub LV !

The LV is like having 2 sports watches, all you gotta do is change bezel color enjoy she's a beauty

Just went through the same thing, although I ended up keeping my SD and just buying the LV. I couldn't get rid of the SD, it is not only iconic, but really great to wear, I agree that it is heavy, but not in the same class as the DSSD! Be happy with your decision, and wear your new LV in good health!

i only meant in comparison to the Sub.

SD is an AWESOME watch !

Unfortunately, I could only choose one between ALL the great sports watch Rolex offers.. and at this time, I chose the LV.

i already regret selling the SD.. should have given it to my bro-in-law, so i can at least look at it once in a while..

Congratulations and now you just need to get that black insert and rotate between 2 colors.... I just can't get enough of the sub/sd as well.
