Seiko Seaurchin Submariner
What do you guys think of this Seiko? It has the 7S36 23jewel movement and a 40 mm case. This is what I bought as a beater until I can finish saving for a REAL watch, my future ROLEX! Gotta have SOMETHING to quench my thirst!

I have had this Seiko model as a daily wearer for many years before I starting wearing a Rolex. Mine has a SS band and the day marker is black except for Sunday which is red. Now the Seiko just gets occasional wrist time. It's never been serviced, keeps good time.

Rolex and Seiko are more alike than they are different. When a "first" occurs in horology, chances are it was one of these two companies.
Amazingly, Seiko is the older company. |
