Daytona Winner Watch
So i bought a bag of old jewery from a second hand store for $5 and i found a fake rolex (looking at all of your feedback, it's a fake. i figured it would be because the rhinestones on the casing are look cheap, but my mom told me to look it up anyways) i wanted to take it apart and use the insides for a sculpture, is that a bad idea? It works well and even though it's a fake, is it a waste to destroy it? should i bring it to a watch repair shop instead?
Thanks |

Welcome to TRF .
Do what you like with it , but given it is a fake please do not post a picture of it here , do not spend any good money on it nor try to sell it on as that would be illegal. Destroying would be my preference . |

You should be able to spin the back off with your fingers...that's what I usually do with the fakes...it's not worth buying the tool to remove the back as it costs more than the watch itself.

You would need a case back tool , try with a soft squash ball .
