Wife's DJ is gaining time all of a sudden
Wife has a DJ, new in 1998, and it gained 10 minutes in one swoop the other night. She noticed it was on time in the afternoon and was 10 minutes ahead about 3 hours later. Weird. She is one of those that likes her watch right on time, as compared to those of us that are 5 minutes ahead. What chould have caused that? Watch was serviced 23 months ago and has a pretty easy life and is worn daily. Thanks for all input!

Generally speaking, when a watch picks up a lot of time all of a sudden, something inside has become magnetized and is holding the balance back from making a full swing...
It's a pretty simple fix and your watchmaker should be able to have it back in action in a couple of minutes..... ![]() (although, some may like to do a regulation along with demag)
