My "Find"

A few years ago I found an Eddie Bauer military style quartz, 150 ft. with a French Movement for $5.00 plus tax. Have gone through 2 batteries and one strap. Not a great watch, but great for everyday outdoor use.

Anyway, last night we popped into the mall and stopped in at Macy's where they're literally clearing out their jewelry department. They have clearance signs of 50% off everywhere! We figured we'd just browse for fun and then go have dinner.

THEN IT HAPPENED!!!!!! As I was walking past a display, THERE WAS AN AT CHRONO!!!!!!! I had to look twice considering it was the ONLY Omega they had! Couldn't believe our eyes.

In the end, we got it for close to 70% off retail!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!! Who'd have thought we'd find it in a Macy's store!!!!

It's on my hubby's wrist today and he is thrilled! A great partner to his Sub!
I realize this is quite late, but WOW! That's a great story.

No Rolex but...

I picked up this Lecoultre Chrono (valjoux 72) for 25.00
At a barn sale

I also snagged a breitling chrono, a accutron and a couple other nice pieces all for less than 25 each

Keeps me looking!
