JLC Master Calendar

I have been wanting a watch that had the Moon Phase for a little while. I saw the JLC Master Calendar while on a business trip to Wasington D.C. last week and thought it looked outstanding.

I went to my AD today and picked one up. He is going to order me a Black Strap to go along with the watch and throw that in for good measure. I think the Black Strap looks better on this watch, besides I don't yet have one with a Black Strap yet.

Dan - I simply love that watch. I have been after one for a long time, and it came down to a decision (recently) between the DSSD and the JLC Master Calendar. The DSSD won I'm afraid, but I'm still after the MC in SS.

It's actually fantastic value when you consider the complication of:

Reserve de Marche
Moonphase
Day
Date ........... AND
Month

It's a beautifully balanced dial too, much nicer than the Hometime, and the previous model it replaced (Think it was the Master Date?)

I'm now trying to pick one up a used model, but they seem to be few and far between.

I wish you health to wear it

Thanks Gary, I fell for it when I first saw it. Wish you the best in your quest to get one.

Dan,
It's a gorgeous watch and has caught my eye as well. I have owned a Master Reserve de Marche for a little over two years and have been a JLC before then. A moon phase complication is something that I love, and I think its extraordinarily well done on this watch. The Lange would be my first cost no object choice, but the JLC represents a real value for the complications offered. One of these is on my short list.

Congrats on a wonderful addition.
