The proper dive watch for JJ
And it's in the Rolex family. I quite like this (sorry Ed).

Me like! Me like!! But it's still NOT a Rolex!!
PS: On a more serious note, I'm not that overly fond of ORANGE!!

Hey, it's in the family and certainly you wouldn't be stepping away from your Rolex only policy if you grabbed one of these. They also have other dial colours, but this is quite apropo seeing that it's a dive watch and orange is the most visible colour underwater. |

Well the Tudor range when they were using the same oyster case
as Rolex. Was a excellent watch, and quite reasonably, when you price it against its Rolex big brother. Some of new hydronaut range of the models almost look like Tags IMO.

Seeing how the Tudor 70 - 80's era Sub's are in the $800.00 to $1200.00 range I'd bet the newer versions as the Hydronaut would be around $3000.00 to $3500.00 ??? <-- just a guess.

I just tuned into this thread for the first time, John. Somehow it's not quite as fugly as the Pumpkin, maybe because it has some of the Exp styling. But the orange dial does nothing for me (as you would expect).
Why would anyone wear it? You don't think a serious diver would wear that thing when there are so many better dive watches out there.
