Does this sound like a good deal to you ?
A clean early V-reg Deepsea ( box and papers ) plus 750 euro cash against a clean ( unserviced ) late F-reg ( box and papers ) white SS Daytona ?

y, i think this is an outstanding deal, in large part because i'd prefer the former to the latter. feelings and preference aside, i think this is a fair deal...

I believe with my budget and the extra cash I may find a nice Daytona in the near future . Or save up for a new one . I'm now just ready for a change , summer coming up and the Deepsea looks better on the beach . That is : If I get to the beach this year |

I would never make that deal as in my opinion the Daytona will always keep it's value and I see plenty of DS's popping up at good prices. |

Personally I would agree, but it is an F series

So you would be getting a DSSD worth about £5K + £750 for a Daytona. Not a great deal as the Daytona is probably worth a little more than that. But on saying that i am not a great Daytona fan and would prefer the Deapsea as watches go. The Daytona is probably coming up for a service soon so you have to offset that cost too. I personally would do the deal as the Deepsea is a tougher watch.

The more I think about this, the worse the deal sounds. A used DSSD will fetch around £5000 and any used Daytona will fetch at least £6000 - don't do it - I think the only advice to do it off TRF members is from non Daytona fans!
The DSSD is massive and uncomfortable compared to your Daytona.

Forgetting about the pro's en con's of a DS vs a Daytona I'd say the Daytona is worth more than a DS + 500 gbp.

If I understand this correctly - you own the Daytona. It is due a service. If you factor this in I think it is a good deal for you.

Seems like a good trade, but why not keep the Daytona and save up for the DSSD....Summer being on the way, aside.....what if you DON'T make it to the beach??

I was JUST in your shoes! I had a F 116520 white with no papers though... I got a V series DSSD and $900 usd for it. I felt the Daytona was a little small on my wrist so I wanted the DeepSea. It was a no brainer to me because I wasn't wearing the Daytona and I loved the DSSD.
