ever noticed how similar the President link and Jubilee link are?
It looks like the two are one in the same when the Jubilee is in a different configuration. Like some Watchmaker/Jeweler got creative with a jewelers saw.

I actually did notice that. I wonder if they use the same molds for the "side" parks of the link for both? Anyone know?

I do not know why anyone would put a aftermarket bracelet on a Rolex, it is like putting on Police Ford Crown Vic rims on a Lincoln LS. 8-(

There are a lot of people who can't afford to maintain their watch with original parts but in the case of the TT President band from Italy I agree.

Part of owning a Rolex is keeping it up to Rolex standards. If someone cannot keep a Rolex 100% Rolex, they then need to step down to something less $$$, (say a Timex). :)

Good point. It's so common though Jan I guess I have just gotten used to it especially on Two Tone watches from the 60's 70's and 80's where most of the watch bands have been replaced if the watch was worn through the years. I'm only 28 so I don't know but I have been told that it was way more affordable to have Rolex replace you bracelet back in the day than it is now. To me the price of replacing the any bracelet two tone or gold through Rolex seems high, like more than the watch head is worth in alot of cases
