How do they do it?

Hi,
I was looking at my Oyster bracelet and I was wondering how they fit the non-screwed links together? I just can't figure how they connect the links - there isn't a screw to fix it so what's the magic here?!

They are a press fit together..

There are three splined studs that take the place of the screw pins. The two outer pieces sandwich the center link, the splines are aligned, and squish......they are pressed together..

So would Rolex take all links apart as seen in the photo, when
they refinish your polished centerlinks bracelet on a New GMT or Daytona?

I can't see them just taping the center links when they satin finish the outer edges.

Also, how are the links removed, which tool?

What about those old rivet link? How do you size the band with these rivet links like those on a thunderbird.
