I have not looked at the caseback. I don't have a tool to open it. The 1.6 serial, based on the reference chart on TRF, should place it in 1967.
Yeah I don't have a tool to open casebacks either. I sent mine down to Bob Ridley and it wasn't until I spoke to him on the phone that he told me the "IV 66" on the caseback. The watch is still with him. Barbara says that the watch is in the testing phase. Anyway, that 5512 is a beautiful example: clean dial, nicely faded insert. A very nice acquisition! I love no-date subs. They just *sing* to me. |

What a beauty. I think the 5512 is probably one of the nicest vintages out there.
