Icon20 Can you help me identify this Rolex Oyster please??

Hi, my father recently left me this watch and despite looking all over the web for the same watch, I can't find one, similar ones but nothing with the same face. Could anyone please help me?? Photos are attached and details on the reverse of the back are as follows:

Oyster Watch Co.
Geneva Swiss
Great Britain Patents
260554/1925
274.788 274.789
Swiss Patents
114.948 120.848
120.854 122.110
French Patents
638.179 638.180
USA Patent 1.661.232
German Patent 443 386

29 1069
26352

On the face it says Rolex Oyster, ultra prima, swiss made

On the workings it says timed 6 positions
15 jewels
Swiss Made
Rolex Ultra Prima

I need to identify it in order to get an idea on value for my insurance company.

Thanks anyone who can help.

Welcome to TRF. There were no pictures attached to your post. But I can tell you that the watch is certainly not a genuine Rolex. No real Rolex has all that writing on it.

Yes its a watch that was made mainly for the UK and Canadian market movement very similar to what they use in the Unicorn Range. There were three types of Prima movements 15Jewel and 17jewel,the Ultra Prima 15Jewel and 17 Jewel was used Rolex branded watches. And Extra Ultra Prima for certain watches like the Rolex Prince. As for value around the £1200-£1500 price mark for insurance £2200.

thanks, it is genuine then and is it from the 30's as had been suggested to me?? My dad had the watch for as far back as I can remember and I'm not sure who had it or where it came from before that I'm afraid. Thanks again for your help.
