Breitling B01 Movement

What do you think of the new B01 in-house movement? Is it a step in the right the direction for the watch company.

Movement comparable with de El Primero , Rolex cal.4130, Omega's co-axial escapement calibre 3313 and many other non 7750 or non piggy backed chrono movements.

The movement incorporates a column-wheel switching mechanism and a vertical clutch, two hallmarks of a well-made chronograph. The vertical clutch assures that the chronograph seconds hand does not jump when the chronograph is engaged.

Very high quality for the money and propably the cheapest manufacture chrono movement around.

Mine has kept incredibly accurate time, so that's a plus.

Im seriously considering buying a Breitling Montbrillant 01 Limited, white face with Navitimer bracelet - anyone got one?

Any idea hoe the residuals will go on this piece as its limited to 2000?

Yes, they have a hit with the 01. There were 10 years of top secret research to put this thing together. This is a chronograph built from the ground up. 70 hours power reserve. This new workhorse will take Breitling to the elite level. Looking forward to getting transocean..
