Fake? Please take a peek

I know I'm stil very new here.

After a little reading the past few weeks, I've become somewhat skeptical of online stuff.

http://nh.craigslist.org/jwl/2793448379.html

The date looks weird (small)

Is this watch the real deal?

Thanks for looking and your expert opinions !

No good....the head overall JDLR and the bracelet & clasp (from the pic) look wrong.

Total fake. The clasp on the edge of the picture is the giveaway. The crown is in the wrong position.

When I have my submariner fund " in the zone" I will make an informed decision and buy from either here on the forum or our local ship. My father in law and several co workers have purchased from our local shop and had a positive experience, both at sale and for service. We do have a AD in town, they rarely get used watchs from time to time.
I do browse cl, it's kind of like a tag sale or auction....thrill of the hunt! I know somewhere, sometime, a real rolex is lurking on Craigslist for a steal of a deal.
That being said, a LOT of scams, junk and stolen stuff out there.
If I buy a lottery ticket, I don't expect to win, but at least I have a chance.
Thanks for all who took the time to chime in.

Please be careful - in the case of CL, and high ticket jewelry, you are not the hunter - you are likely the prey.

Clasp is wrong and overall looks are not right. Lighting is bad but not bad enough to hide the clasp.
