Louis Moinet Datoscope

Love the packaging, not as keen on the watch.

Oh and the watch itself...

It's my first 'high end' watch. To me that's anything over 200 quid but I think I've made a mistake. I would have preferred an Omega Speedmaster pro meteorite with hindsight :(

I'll be very honest and say I find this watch truly beautiful (very original and nice box as well)! Don't be so hard on it! A Speedmaster is a great watch but this one is really original and I'm sure it deserves a lot of love and wrist time!

It's a strong watch for a certain market. I like the back.

Thanks for your comments.
It is very nice and the design and build quality are fantastic, some really nice touches to it but just 'not me' and I'd never wear it. TBH it was a deal over the net from face only pictures. I loved it until I turned it over and saw the back and I just can't get over it looking like a car 'spinner' wheeltrim. The whole darker chrome wheel spins. You know, once you have an image in your mind and all that. Seems a waste to have such a nice watch that I'll never wear so will have to find a buyer / swapper for it. Someone who will be able to appreciate it.

As for the screws, I'll have a closer look johnswatch, they do look jewelled don't they?

This watch is beautiful and it is a limited edition of 60 pieces ! Louis Moinet is designing beautiful watches with specific "Côte de Jura" finishing.

I'm very impressed with the watch. Neat box, too. The watch is very good looking.

I like it! I had the pleasure of meeting the CEO of Louis Moinet here in Perth and had a awesome conversation. I was lucky to have played with a few of his watches.

I like the brand and the watches that's for sure.
