New Invicta "Explorer II Polar"
For those into homage Invicta watches, this one is pretty cool.

I saw these on Amazon recently and I must admit that I was tempted, but my Invicta days are behind me.
You gotta love the text on the dial.

Ah, all those great designers Lalo has and with all the R bashing they do, they still resort to this

I wonder what the "certified design" is referring to?.. Rolex design maybe

I'm here
Neat looking watch! Quartz right? I saw one of these a bit ago. It's been a year and a bit since I've had my 8926OB and it's been great! A lot of people will not like this, and lord trust me I've heard it But that's okay! People have their own opinions on homage watches, and we've got to respect that.

If they'd put one of those new Seiko movements in it and make the 24hr hand independent of the hour hand, I think they might really have something.
I've got nothing against homages. If it hadn't been for my interest in lesser watches, I'd never been led to boards like this one where I learned what Rolex was really all about. I've still got an Invicta 8926OB around here with a broken movement. I might even get it fixed someday.

invictas pro diver is the most popular version they offer.. of all 1200 or so "executions" basically their submariner date. so fine with me. i have a couple swiss movement invictas. imitation is is the sincerest form of flattery.. so, it is what it is. maybe this one will be as popular?

Beautiful watch, and I'm sure its quartz movement keeps even better time than most Rolexes. However, it reminds me of the Hyundai Equus. Beautiful car, comparable to a Mercedes S-Class. However, just not the same.

Date-Master GMT?! That's so weaksauce! I'm not knocking Invicta--they tick just fine, but jeez, don't be quite so overt about the imitation... And at least try to come up with an original name.

I am a "wannabee" because I don't have the money that you people have. One day I will get the real 16610. It'll just take time.

I liked and enjoyed my Sub so much I bought 3 homages, an Invicta, an Alpha and an MQJ and I consider them to be an honor to the 16610. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

It took me a long time to get my DJ & I bought it pre owned. I'm now saving for a 16610 just like you pal. All good things come to those who wait. Get yourself a Tag Aquaracer to pacify you until the sub comes through. Tag makes great watches just don't pay retail for them..
