My Panerai

I've never spent too much time in this section nor have I posted pics here, but ive been playing with a new camera. Thanks for looking.

My 87. This one has been to the bottom of the ocean many times, and is my favorite non rolex diver.

I ordered this 190 on a whim right after Panerai reintroduced the Radiomir about 10 years ago. I ended up waiting about 8 months for it, but it was worthwhile.

Pardon my ignorance but does the 8 days mean you dont have to wound it for 8 days?

And to answer the question, yeah it has an 8day power reserve (more like 9).

The 190 has an 8 day power reserve manual wind movement sourced from JLC. The indicator on the back shows how long the watch will run till it needs to be wound again.

two great pieces!! thanks, chris, but, i can't believe how you've been holding out on us over here!

hope to see you around. just to say, a 372, 233 or 390 could really round out the collection.

Thanks Cru!

I used to have a 104 but I sold it. I'd love to add another luminor but would opt for the base.

I haven't been meaning to hold out, but I had been living out of a suitcase for two years prior to march. Now that I'm settled down again, I've had better access to my collection, and have a good camera and space to shoot them in. My iPhone pics are the epitome of bad watch pics, it was getting embarrassing.

Don't worry, in the coming days/weeks I'll be posting other stuff as well.
