This One is Hilarious

This is no doubt the worst fake I have ever seen. I looks like someone wrote 300m on the dial with a pen. Come on a white dial Sub.

The dials look like they were painted with liquid paper... I was sure it was a fake until I saw that 100% authentic Rolex sticker in the back... now I'm bidding!

Check out the bidders too, should one of us warn these fine people who are having a bidding war over this gum machine piece of junk?

OMG! It's the ultra-rare Pan Am Sub! The number 16233 waaaaaaaaaaaaay before DJs were made in TT! All that for only $210?! It's the bargain of the century!

Not that I'm ever going to buy anything off of E-bay, but sometimes I just like to look around. Last night I searched for Daytona's and I saw a SS black dial Daytona for $4,000. The guy openly said that it had a Valijoux movement!! He is literally saying the thing is fake in the auction. How stupid can people be. Here is the link for that one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Daytona-Ch...QQcmdZViewItem

Down here I see fakes ranging from the interesting to the bizarre every day.
But that white dial wonderchild is bad.
I am surprised the fake hologram can stay afixxed to something so slimey.
I know that some day I will stop for gas in say, Arkansas, and see the cashier wearing the Rolex trucker hat and that watch.
The "successful" bidder will already have been made to squeal like a piggy!

The one that's been bidding the most has one other purchase:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5057714987

This guy is either majorly stupid or is anothe con artist who is going to turn around and sell these god awful POS for more than double what he paid to some real sucker.

People are such crooks. Check out the second link too. 4 grand for a fake Daytona! Like I said before, the guy said it had a "Asian Valjoux" movement. How do these people sleep at night?

Very true JJ. I'm just trying to figure out why people would even bid on a obvious POS like that.

Well, Tyler, you'd be surprised as to how many guys there are out there who don't know jack sh!t about watches. There are literally millions still out there who consider e-bay a "shoppers paradise" and with good prices too!!

A sucker born every minute as they say!!

It's really not that hard to figure out. I mean come on. If your gonna drop that much on a watch and if you are completly against a AD at least study up on what you are going to bid on. My uncle uses e-bay alot, but it is for golf equipment.

It would be only 2 years ago that I didn't know what a Rolex looked like. It's not that I lived like a hermitt,it is just a case of I had no interest in watches.

Boy was I surprised when I saw the first picture of a Rolex Submariner.(It almost looked like my Seiko divers watch. ) I always thought that a Rolex would be like a gold President, and that would be the only model.

Tyler you will be surprised in how much info you have about these watches and not even know it.There are a lot of people in the world who are easily led down the garden path. There are a lot of people in the world who have too much money and are looking at ways of getting rid of it as fast as possible.(dimwitts)

Not everyone is logical, there are many con artists preying on this, when the two meet someone gets ripped off. There are also many optimists who beleive the bargain of a lifetime is around the corner.(The $500.00 Daytona).

As JJ has said,Ebay, the shoppers paradise. It must be real as they state it is,you cant lie on Ebay as you will get banned. You might even be treated with suspicion if you warn a bidder to a fake.(You might be trying to muscle in this never to be repeated bargain.)

It is amazing what a forum can do and how much information can be had with a few key strokes. Its like anything you buy or do,get the facts and work out the best outcome for yourself. For the sake of newbies reading this an AD (Authorised Dealer) saves a lot of drama.

Anyhow one final note.I couldn't get anyone to join my Amway team, yet guys get people into cults and milk them of their money and then get a mass suicide thing happening. There are strong willed and weak minded folk everywhere, dont be one of them.

P.S Want to buy some soap.

Aaron
