Of the more popular panerai models (other than the very thin rad 338)?

Short answer, Yes.

232 is thin
190 is not too thin
312 is thick
305 is a tuna can

Many others in between.

Basically all auto's will make it thicker
Basically all high PR models will be slightly thicker as well opposed to a lower PR model.
Even the caseback makes a difference. I feel my 390 is thinner than my 111. Same movement, different caseback.

i feel the same, the 390 feels thinner than my 112. i actually compared the case side by side and found out the 390 has thinner lugs from side profile.
