"New" Addition:

Ref. 6518
A few interesting attributes of this 1954 "Rare" ref. 6518.

1. The text "Rite Time"
2. The black honeycomb dial's transformation (Tropic and beautiful
3. Under the hood! (The automatic caliber 1000 as opposed to the more commonly seen 1030 (5) * Caliber 1000 was also used in the Deep Sea Special

I'm really enjoying this little (34mm) watch
It is interesting to think that this is one of the more scarce Rolex's and it is relatively unknown.

x2, sweet watch. I think random rare Rolexes under 40mm are due for an explosion in interest soon...

I agree. With sport model price chugging on past the stratosphere, I think the Rolex enthusiasts will slowly start to discover these great vintage pieces. Sad to say that'll kill their reasonable prices but for now, it's a buyers market on 34mm watches

gorgeous!

that's a true beauty and there is nothin wrong with 34mm.

i agree that the normal size (34 to 36mm) watches are gonna swing back into fashion.

enjoy!

janice :)

I love it. Could be a "his or her" watch.

I can only hope that they do! I hate the huge oversize watches of today!
