Would like some opinions...

Hi:
I'm new to posting here but have been a lurker for a long while. I would love to hear some feedback on a choice I'm about to make. I do recognize that this decision is subjective. But I'm sorta at a tie among three watches I've wanted for a long time.

1: Rolex DD II 218238 Yellow Gold/Ivory dial
2: Audemars Piguet 44mm Forged Carbon
3:IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar 5021 / Rose Gold black Face

They are roughly the same price to me. I can only have one for now and won't get the others for a little while. Some criteria that drives my decision: I don't need to be ostentatious but I do like my watch to occasionally stir conversation from other watch aficionados. Also I get bored and sometimes get rid of a watch after a few years. So resale is worthwhile for me to consider. It would be cool if anyone who owns any of these watches could share their feedback.

Thanks

Since you mentioned you have two big pilots already...the portuguese is out.

The AP is exceptional, but it wears big - bigger than a big pilot imo. I prefer the looks of the steel version myself.

The dd is more elegant, perhaps more of a complement to your Bp's. if it was me, I would buy it in WG.

You can't go wrong with any of those - good luck on your hunt!

That's good guidance. I hadn't though about it that way. I find it interesting though how the majority of people here in the States don't have much love for yellow old.
