New watch hunting

Hi. My modest collection (Roles sub, Raymond Weil and cartier ballon blue) pictured below needs something new. Considering a cartier santos xl two tone (SS and rose gold). The problem I see with this option though is that it comes with a brown strap which I don't like. I would rather have a black strap. Do you guys think changing the strap from brown to black will alter the watch such that it deviates from its design? I don't want to create a freak of a watch. Thoughts welcome - thanks

Get what you like..........what does it matter what others like????? How could you possibly go wrong with a black strap??????
