Just open the glass and pull it out.

One of the nice things about Kubik winders is that you don't have to turn them off before you remove your watch. Failing to do so on cheaper winders can damage the motor. It also knows when it's on it's side, and will automatically shut off until it is set right side up again.

Truth be told, I'd never pay for one of these -- I'd much rather put the money into a watch -- but when it's a gift from your AD, hey, why not use it? Ideally, I should be putting my one and only perpetual calendar on it, but since it's a seven-day movement, it never sits long enough to run down. ;-)

Regards,
Adam

I thought the glass was screwed into the box. I think I should get one of these.

You can't see it in the photos, but the posts are hinged on one side, though rather ingeniously so; they're designed to appear fixed, just like the other side.

The non-branded Swiss Kubik single watch winder in leather with the optional glass cover is already kissing $1K, so I'd assume that the price on this one is over a grand. At least I've heard that's the case with the Rolex and IWC-branded versions.

So yeah, unless you've got a generous AD or have money to burn, I'd have to agree with everyone who said their wrist is the best winder. ;-)

Adam

This winder is selling for SGD 1250 at the service centre in Singapore.

You must have a very good relationship with the AD

Thanks Mike. Nothing fancy just a Wolf Designs one. Got it as a birthday present on my 40th. By the way, I haven't had a chance to ship your goodie yet. I will do so on Wednesday. Therefore, shipping to FL still works?
