Finally committed!!
Hi fellas...
Well after a year of lurking, procrastination, looking, almost committing and then lurking some more, I finally plunked my hard earned down on my first rolex..... It's such a huge wedge of coin, but I'm so happy I finally cast aside my fear of spending so much money on a watch and got one. The experience was fantastic. Great sales service (I'm on holidays at singapore), and a pretty okay price compared to back home... Here's my baby... The first of many probably, now I've got the bug! Sorry the pics are a bit average, I'm only travelling with my ipad... Look forward to contributing more now that I'm a Bona fide owner and not just a dreamer! Gorgeous watch. Congrats on your first Rolex.
Word of warning, after the first, it is a very slippery slope to the second, third, fourth, and so on. Lol

Thanks guys.
I've literally hummed and harred over this for nearly 2 years now. I've spent money on watches before, but never anything even close to this. This thing is in new car territory. I was so stuck over which one to buy (which colour combination of the Daytona), but after looking at literally every SS and TT model, this one literally sung out to me. I couldn't put it down. The panda face with the Arabic numerals was a close run, as was the SS with the black face. In the end though, the white TT excited me more than all the rest!! As soon as I saw the TT in white for the first time today I knew it was the one for me! It wears beautifully, the size and weight are perfect for me. Loved the milligaus too... Maybe next year!!! |

The only thing wrong with the TT is I'm so scared of scratching it!!
That's the huge advantage of the SS. Hard wearing. I dunno how those solid gold (yellow or white) guys can bang their watches around... I'm gonna cry when I scratch up the clasp in the next week or two... |

That was my first Rolex. Great choice. You're not likely to top that no matter what you buy in the future.

Wow! Great watch! I'm very excited for you! I had that same feeling @ the end of Nov 2012. I'm still on a high! Your new watch just kept me up there a little longer!
