ALL Rolex wacthes, despite their age, have the construction to resist water penetration PROVIDED that they are serviced with fresh seals all around and non cracked acrylics.
Also, that they have NOT been knocked seriously againsts doors, other objects, etc, that could cause a mallfunction to the crystal seating. So, have a proper pressure test, and......GO ! ( Another point is if you REALLY want to use it in water. ) Speaking about this issue, there goes the international template of the water resistance.
