Only the Diver is discontinued in FC so far but presenting a updated 44mm ROO gets curious if the actually will put the FC to ground in the future.

I could think of some reason why...

1 Cost more and takes more time to make the FC

2 The hole middle case needs to be replaced when tube is worned down, But i also think the new Ceramic cases would need to be replaced as well when the tube is bad.

Will let you know later this week after my friend has had there meeting with AP
Thomas. How often does the case middle need replacing, or what causes it to wear? As this info was quite interesting to read, not to mention slightly worrying

Now, the question is..... What will be the price point on the new ceramic 44 since the ceramic diver is a lot less!
Looks like $40k for the ceramic 44mm ROO per Howard @ TZ. Which I find odd since the FC is less at $36.5k...and then the Diver is opposite where the ceramic is almost 20% less than the FC.

Sounds like AP needs to clean up their product line a little.

Honestly that pricing doesn't sound right at all.

FC 44 - 36.5
CR 44 - 40

FC Diver - 27.1
CR Diver - 21.8

I don't get it.. the FC Diver costs 24.31% more than the CR BUT the CR 44 costs 9.589% more than the FC 44..

Huh?

Volcano + Diver Ceramic

Bumblebee + Diver FC.

Is there a 5% discount on the new Diver?

Not sure either to get a Panda/Volcano @ 18-19k or a Diver Ceramic @21.8k. hmm

The panda and volcano gets 20-25% off at boutique and it has chrono features.
The diver doesnt have chrono features.

hmm.. decisions.. decisions..
