I can't decide which is my favorite. Usually whichever one is on my wrist.

just acquired a 16710. Tried on the GMT-IIC as well. In addition to it being a bit more $ on the get go, I just couldn't see past the larger numbers on the bezel. is it a sexy watch, absolutely. is it unique in all of the technology introduced, most certainly. Do I have the funds for both, not quite yet! While I think the IIC is definitely a fabulous watch, I opted for the black bezel 16710 as my introduction into the gmt world.

Totally love the fat red handed GMT , when did they stop making them and is there much difference with the skinny red handed GMT?
Tried on the new green hand model but is not the same , must own the red one soon. The pics are lovely guys , hopefully this year i can join the GMT gang. |

I have a GMT Master Pepsi and a new GMT Master IIc. They have their similarities, but I agree they each have their own character. Both very beautiful watches. The IIc is a bit more eyecatching (maybe because it's newer), but there's something so classic about the original GMT Master.

Hi all
I am ready to buy my first GMT... I just can't get my head around which one!! I'm down to two - GMT II Coke 16710 or the new GMT II Ceramic. There is obviously a price difference (I think about £700 looking at what I can find between a new ceramic and pre-owned coke) so id it worth the extra money? Any help you can give me will be great - at the moment I can only afford one! |

Hello To all, I have to say that even do they are two unique time pieces, they also had there own special quality, I love my GMT II and I could go either way, "C" class or Contemporary it is on the eye of the beholder....

One is enough for me but if I decided to get a second it would be the 1675.

The red hand in the older model did it for me.
I was considering the new ceramic but I don't care for the green. I was excited that the new explorer ii was 42mm...until I saw the orange hand. After wearing a 5513 for nearly 30 years, I was looking for something similar, but with a little difference....it was the red hand and coke bezel that did it. |

Ye Olde Threade
But seeing as I'm here, I prefer the more recent model
