Keep em coming Andy!!

I just traded my only vintage piece, 5513 for another vintage piece, 1675 GMT with original dial and hands, looks like it should be very sweet!!

Andy, if I am not mistaken, the second one from the left is a triple date chronograph Ref. no. 6036. That is a beautiful watch. Any idea how much they go for? I saw an ad for one recently at Michael Ashton, a high end jeweler in New York, so I don't even want to hazard a guess at what they've priced it at.

For some further information on the Ref. No. 6036, see
http://www.ukwatches.com/RolexD.html
on James K. Dowling's site.

For me, that could be the nearly perfect Rolex. The only thing it would need to make it perfect would be a 24 hour hand a la the GMT-II.

6036

Hey Ed: If you got to Antiquorum and run a search "Rolex 6036" you will get some great pics and auction results. They are very very expensive. I think the Rolex Chronographs of the 1940's-1960's are the absolute greatest.

And BTW I DO NOT own the watches in the post. IT IS NOT my collection, although I wish it were. I like to collect digital images of the wide variety of Rolex from the earliest to the present. I know, its strange but the craftsmanship and variety of the dials appeals to my eye.

Hey... at least my watches arent having sexually charged battles with one another.

Have you checked on them at night while you think they are LoL Have you noticed they are not glowing as strong in the p.m. when you last looked at them....
