What I have been up to these past few months

Well...

I had a photo shoot - covering an event. I had to invest in a backup camera, a few flashes and ... a new computer system to handle the large files of the new camera. Been busy shooting until January 1st.

The event in question, well some pictures from it...

The new camera is a D300 and the new computer is a MacBookPro with CS3, yup... I switched to a Mac and I am now using Photoshop and I wonder why I waited so long to switch and use photoshop..

Then shortly after we went to Paris for the Holidays...

A few pictures from Paris

Then a week after we came back from Paris it was New York for a few days in order to go and see Wicked and The Lion King

I had a photoshoot in Paris and now... I am wondering what to do next, I have a few people asking for pictures so perhaps and will surely cover a friend's wedding in March but for a friend the price is always $0 ...

New York is great but I wasn't there long enough to take pictures, just walked around a bit - it was my significant other's Christmas gift - she wanted to see Wicked and we ended up seeing two musicals, she loves musicals so I took her to NY city, where else but Broadway.

Anywho, I'll never do a photoshoot while on vacation ever again, no more photo contract while I am resting.

My best picture of 2007, captured with a D2Hs and a 50/1.2 @ 1.2

And of course I found the time to do a little watch shopping but I am not decided quite yet

I know I can't afford this one below

Dude, you are a first class photographer. All of these are beautiful, but the one that really keeps me going back is the one inside the church with the smoke. To me that is simply an outstanding image! Thanks for sharing! Cheers, Bill P.

Awesome stuff.

Did you decide on the watch yet? Ever seen this JLC? I think it oozes style.

You've a great eye for shots - they're really, really good. Can I ask what kind of camera? Also, I love - love - the JLC (think they're underrated) but am also a big fan of the IWC. I couldn't help you with that decision - it's like choosing between pie and cake.

Duder... I really like the JLC Extreme World Chronograph, I like the Aston Martin Memovox and really like the sound of the Ti version, sounds like a school bell, really crips and clear but I like this model better in SS since I could get it on a bracelet.

I am actually thinking about getting a pair of Rolexe, his and hers - One for me and one for my significant other... Why not? Ether that or a JLC Extreme World Chrono plus a Reverso or a Panerai... I don't know yet. I could get only one watch and buy an IWC perpetual ... I'll decide by the end of March - the watch will be a keepsake as such it has to be real special and will end up being a keeper...
