Is Bob Ridley still around?
I've sent a couple emails in the last 3 weeks but haven't gotten any responses.
Just wondering. Maybe he's on a well-deserved vacation |

Talked to Bob extensively a couple weeks ago and know he has a heavy workload. You should hear from Barbara soon though.

Takes Barb time to reply unfortunately. But worth the wait!

They're usually pretty swamped.
I find it's much, much easier to call them. After you speak to Barb or Bob, you can send a follow-up emails and they may get to them a bit faster. |

Alive and kicking...
Yes, we're here! Responding via email this evening to your message of 5/19...
You guys are always gracious - even when I am indeed swamped. Some weeks we're inundated, and Bob does prefer that we answer each inquiry personally. When I'm most behind, I occasionally wish we did assembly line and form letters...but then we'll receive one of those wonderful notes / letters / stories about a family watch, and I'm reminded of how lucky I am to work for Bob. For example, last month Bob serviced a 50's Rolex, originally purchased by a Navy pilot in 1943 when he "got his wings". The watch was now being presented to the owner's grandson at his Naval pilot pinning ceremony 2013. They elected to engrave both sets of initials and dates on the caseback. Seeing the watch, and the subsequent photos of their celebratory day, was remarkable. |

Bob currently has one of my watches. Just from speaking to him I have to say, I was blown away by the level of intricate care that goes into his work. The best way to describe it is that he is as crazy as the rest of us, and cares about details that most non-watch people wouldn't even believe is a real thing.
Dealing with Barbara after speaking to Bob is the icing on the cake. |

I was wondering the same. I'm glad though that Barbara monitors the forums and chimes in.
I have though sent 4 or 5 emails over the past 2 months and two phone messages with no reply to any. So it leaves me a little confused and I tend to think about it a lot. |

I guess a two person operation can be overwhelming.
I'm looking at two more weeks for mine to be completed. D |

Mine was to have been finished last friday and shipped this week. She did email stating that she is looking into the phone company issue. A disconnected line i m sure will make people sweat a bit. |
