This thread is too complicated for me....I tend to keep it simple. Do I like the watch or do I not like it?

All the worry about watch value, LE/SE, etc, isn't why I like watches, so such talk about Panerai (or any watch brand) doesn't matter at all to me.

As far as popularity goes, just because more people like a brand doesn't mean I have to stop liking it. If so, I would never wear a Rolex or PAM, or ever dream of wearing an AP or PP. I would just seek out boutique manufacturers.
