Too high for box and no papers!n:

Check the classifieds here, for that you can get a full set in mint condition.

+1. You can get a way better deal and also get the BP to boot.

+2 No thanks at that price. However, the 15300 is a PERFECT AP. Great choice if you buy one.

A) It's a 15300

B) To me the 15300 is a very good choice. It has all the qualities I look for in a sportswatch and it can even be wored as a dresswatch. The movement in this is legendary and by many thought of as being among the best automatic movements ever made.

You can read more about the movement here.

A couple of things to be aware of regarding the bracelet:

It's a scratch-catcher, so you have to take a little care when wearing it.
Due to the lack of half and/or quarter links some might find it difficult to adjust it to "perfection". But I think there are links to buy.
If you would like to change to a leather or rubber strap you will need a converting kit. This is rather expensive if you don't find a pre-used kit. App US$450. A good leather strap is also pretty expensive.

C) This is a little price - follow the advices from the guys in the earlier posts.

D) Follow your heart, and maybe your wallet - and Go for it !

Does the bezel look a little 'polished'?

The condition of this 15300 looks good. Will be great to see pics of the caseback and bracelet for better feedback. I believe the price can be further pressed down since the paper is unavailable. When buying without paper, please be sure that the seller is a reputable and trustworthy one.

Too high and if you decide to convert to rubber or croc with deploy buckle its a lot more than 450.

Price is a little high but not that much. One with B&P should be around $11.5K or so now that's been discontinued for a while. Maybe $10.5K would be more fair.

When I read my own post further up I see that a word is missing. I wrote "this is a little price" and it should have read "this is a little high price".

I might buy it. I will upload case back with serial number. If its not that old 1 or 2 years I might pull the trigger.

I want to get a black 15300. If it passes you blessing paying 500-1000$ is not an issue....

I am excited now will upload case back soon..

Thanks!

Looks pristine & genuine. A few days ago there was a similar piece (with box & paper) in SG sold at around USD10.5k. Try to bargain a little bit more and I believe you are good to grab it. Good luck!

Guys? I look forward to hearing your replies please.... Specifically on the serial number I just realized one if the members (orange dial) has already shed some light on the fact that its pristine etc. / doesn't look to be polished (kilyung) but... What about the f serial number?

Thanks!

F would indicate that it's a few years old. AP letter serials appear to be produced over 2-3 year periods. I think we're now in the H serials? Or was it I?
