Have had several deals with Richard, NKFlyer, and have been very satisfied. We all have an off day, better to cut him some slack I think. He will continue to get my business, buying or selling.

Not taking sides and this is a bit like apples to pears, but I sold a watch last year to a guy who was very nervous. After several calls, texts, etc. I started thinking that maybe I'd be better off not selling to him because of possible after-sale remorse on his part. (Actually, I was the one who had the remorse wishing I hadn't sold the damn thing in the first place - now I'm looking for a replacement!)
I'd provided dated pics, copy of my DL, references, and I'd bought it from a trusted seller to start with. It all worked out fine (other than the fore-mentioned remorse), but I must say I was getting fed up with the deal. (I realize the situation here is different.) Of course, I've sold other watches that were more expensive quickly and easily - so, you never know. Many of us may have been the irritator or the irritatee at times, but mostly better to let it ride if it's nothing serious, IMO. Best of luck to both parties here. |

Hi Mark, you mentioned Chase Bank having an issue. I ran into the same problem with them in trying to buy a Panerai. It was days....days before they could get the problem resolved but the buyer was so patient and I felt so bad but it was not within my control. Come to find out the bank had flagged my account for having jewelry transactions which Chase bank frowns upon. So what did I do, went to Bank Of America. No problems since but I can attest it was a nerve racking experience.

I agree. I got them out of my banking business about 12 years ago and never looked back.
