The bottom of the tach at 6 is pure Busch league! They also stole my blue strap! I am ok with the rest I think. NA too much blue including second hand.

I think it is sporty and really like it. DO NOT LIKE the royal blue seconds chrono hand.

Much prefer the OG 5270! Can somebody do a side by side original dial to this one so we can do a true comparison!

Wow, that blue hand is really tacky.....surprised to see PP would do this on one of their more complicated high end pieces....

just realized two items.

THIS DIAL has a Tachymeter, whereas the original 5270 does not. If Patek spent hte time editing the scale to 'squeeze' in the date dial, why not shift all three subdials upwards?

Quite predictably, I agree with the two of you.

They would have to change the movement to shift subdials. Then it would be a new movement. Tach is completely wrong and the 27 and 5 on date wheel look like they rushed it

good point about the dial change affecting the movement.

At least they used a smaller font size for "Patek Phillipe". However it looks like the the chrono seconds hand is painted blue, looks cheap in the picture.

I like it, although perhaps reducing the size of the date numerals would be preferable to distorting the minute track? (but what do I know about watch design?!!)
Expect it will look better in more natural lighting

Bulliondesk, thanks for the update. Do you know if this is going to be available only at German ADs? Will the price be the same as the regular 5270G-001 at €133K?

Oh dear that 6 seems so clumsy, poor 120 got crushed.

This dial is so odd that it may become really collectible... I guess...

I must say that the dip at 6 is original and doesn't bug that much, however, it just adds to a lot of points that make me believe they could have made something else for a limited edition like that one. It's a tad too blue for my taste, the addition of the tachymeter (and the dip at 6) is an interesting idea that worked on previous models but surprisingly I don't think the result is as nice on that one as it is on the 5970, 3970 and others, it seems like they felt the need to put one so they cut on the aesthetics to integrate it.

I think they did well with the guilloché subdials though, it's a nice detail.

Overall I think I would have preferred to see another edition much more similar to the original one but perhaps in another metal instead, something in yellow gold would have been nice.

I think the 27 is the only number on the date wheel that looks right. Perhaps they could have made every number that size or a wee bit smaller and then there would be no need to have the sloppy tach.

Genius.

The "5" also looks appropriately sized, given this perspective.

I agree with another post on another forum, PP made this trying to get rid of rest of the 5270G they have already made.

Putting in a different dial to see if it can spice up the demand.

Aww! How cute! They gave the new 5270 a little pot belly.

Oh, wait. Or is it a double chin?!

I no like it. It looks terrible aesthetically when looked at as a gestalt...
