Dennis, I'm sorry about your situation & hope that you get your money back soon.
This guy really chose the wrong field to do his work!
He has a WHOLE FAMILY of watch lovers after him now!

I'm sure he has done this before and also surprised that no one has spoken up. May be someone out there hasn't got their money back from this guy either and gave up?

This is turning out to be a detective story!
I'm sure in the end, the good guys will win the war!

Proof!!

I have more progress! A member of another forum was able to find the source of the seller's pictures: http://www.thewatchgallery.com.au/shop/ ... ox-papers/.

Now I know without doubt he never had the watch in his hand!

All this scumbags don`t have watches that they list in their hand.
I think that a watch like that is more expensive than the house where he lives.
Wish you good luck, keep us posted with your progress.
Still, i`m shocked that police cooperates for this type of fraud. Usually police departaments don`t care about this complains.
Congrats.

This is my latest reply to the seller, who emailed me today. His email is in black while my replies are in red. . His name is now Marcelo Anders. His name was originally Anders Ibarra. The post office than told me the person who filed the lost package claim is Marcello Ocampo. This is at least 3 version of this name! Also, he did not respond why the pictures he used in his sale post were the same pictures used in this: http://www.thewatchgallery.com.au/sh...0-wbox-papers/

Anders
Please see my replies in red. I am still confused about your name. See below.

In a message dated 10/22/2012 3:22:14 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, kingpower@live.com writes:

1- I'm so tired of you Dennis, how many times do I need to say that I'm Marcelo Anders, are you retarded or something? I've been telling you like forever!!!
--- I am very confused. You gave me your name as Anders Ibarra. The post office claim is under Marcello Ocampo. Now you say your name is Marcelo Anders? I asked you who is Marcello Ocampo because that is who the Swedish post office said filed the claim?

2- Why did you contacted my bank to steal money from me??? who do you think you are? I'm working out with the postal service to get your refund, don't you get it?
-- I did not contact your bank.

3- Understand this last thing, IF YOU CONTINUE THREATING ME AND TRY TO STEAL MY MONEY, IM NOT GONNA HELP YOU NOR TALK TO YOU ANYMORE!

-- I am the one who has paid and right now do not have anything.

And by the way, I also have a life outside the internet and the computer that I need to take care of, which (unlike you) that seems that your life belongs to the computer.

I am trying to recover my money.

PLEASE DON'T BOTHER ME ANYMORE UNTIL I GET ANY UPDATE FROM THE CLAIM.

I hate it when scammers keep responding to your messages to make you sound like the bad guy. I had a similar situation where I bought a wallet that turned out to be fake (less than 90 bucks) and I tried to pursue it. The guy got so nasty I just decided to drop it. If he needs my 80 bucks that badly I wasn't willing to fight him for it. Anyway this sounds like a terrible situation for you. I hope it works out in the end!

Sounds like a trashbag... Sorry but I guarantee he's not trying to get any money from the Post office.

This is a real uphill battle! Swedish post office just informed me there is no insurance on this item, even though I requested insurance from the scammer, oops I mean seller. I hope the police in Sweden can help me further.

Sorry everyone to drag this up but I noticed it earlier, Its excellent seeing a forum being so helpful. I noticed it whilst viewing old topics trying to pick up some tips spotting fakes.

Very keen to know if there is an update?

I have bought an item from this guy on a Swedish auction site (www.tradera.se). Before I made a payment I did a search on his name and landed in this forum.
It seems that I should be careful but was/is strange is that the guy has only positive feedbacks on this auction site Tradera. He has a total of 2693 since registrering and 1837 of these are unique. He has none negative feedbacks.
This goes back to 2010-12-01

Therefore I wonder if there is any news?
