A seller with their first activity being a Rolex sale is highly suspicious. In general however if paying with credit card the risks are minimal except for the hassle of gong after the seller if they don't deliver. For me just to avoid the pain of getting a refund I generally don't bother with anyone without a well established track record and visible experience selling Rolexes. Even then there is risk that it will bave to be returned if it isn't as promised. The easier way is to purchase from a reputable seller on the forum but sometimes the price on ebay is too good to pass up.

The old adage holds though that if it is too good to be true then it probably is.

Thank you..Yes, I recently purchased a lovely vintage Rolex bubble back timepiece, from one of our members here on TRF, and as well, feel I made a friend. I feel extremely fortunate!

This has to be genuine.

The seller has no feedback but has a friend in the police department.

Run away as fast as you can.

The funny thing is even if ebay doesn't cancel the listing, they won't release the $ until the tracking info shows the item is delivered.

Running towards a nuclear mushroom cloud would be my first choice than
running towards this listing.

The seller sounds a little disgruntled in his description! I would say you're asking for a headache if you pursue this watch!

I would stay away from sellers who have just registered their accounts and with little or zero feedback. I have purchased from 2 such sellers before and both turn out to be fraudulent. I have to file claims through ebay protection. Both claims were successful fortunately but the waiting periods were filled with anxieties.

Hi.. It was the subtle approach and landing of the sellers wording that grabbed my attention.. .I honestly wasn't inclined to bid.

I curiously wanted to ask how if he can kindly post all the corresponding certs/invoice et al, that I feel confident he must possess. ..And how he came to acquire it, and why he's selling it.. and as well through this venue.

As for myself ..I was born at night, although not last night, at least since I discovered our TRF community ;) Better late than never.. .
