Something old, something new
I was just making the switch from my LV to my Rail and it got me thinking... how many of you vintage guys like to balance out your collections with a modern piece (or many?)? Here is my humble collection.

I go from vintage to new all the time. Its a must for any fine watch collector. I dont know many collectors or owners that have only new or ones that have only old. Here's some of mine

Have my eye on one particular modern watch but for the most part, don't like the modern offerings. I like the uniqueness of vintage watches.

Have just one modern (16600 SD) with my vintage. Does not balance the others out as such, but makes for a good beater.

I much prefer the old ones, but I also have one modern Rolex, a 1990 SD 16600, which has a bit of character. Here it is, worn today:

Thanks! The LV was actually my first rolex, I just typically post pics of it in the general section and keep it out of here bc I figure it isn't vintage... yet ;)
